Have you ever heard of the agricultural Pampas of Chinchero? Maybe not, they are the most beautiful flatlands that exist in the Cusco region where lots of indigenous communities grow potatoes, barley, beans, quinoa, etc. — the plantations look like hundreds of “chess boards” in cold and warm colours from the sky. If you want to visit this natural attraction, you can book our bicycle tour through the Pampas de Chinchero, we depart from Cusco city by vehicle to the Plaza de Armas of Chinchero town where the bike tour begins.
We will bike through beautiful landscapes of the high-Andean areas of Cusco at almost 3800 meters above sea level until we reach the Huaypo lake located next to the Condorcocha community (west of Chinchero city).
After visiting the Huaypo lake, we’ll get back in the car until we reach the highest point of Chinchero’s Pampas at almost 4000 masl. in order to start the downhill biking over dirt road towards Cachimayo town in Anta province and finally return to Cusco city by car.
