Join our bicycle tour to the Devil’s Balcony of Cusco, we depart by vehicle from Cusco city to our downhill-biking starting point which is the rural community of Salkantay located at about 4000 masl. in the northeast of Cusco city.

During the biking experience, we will visit the famous devil’s balcony and an Inca temple — what’s more if you wish, you can cross the rock formation to the other side by following the Saphy river bank — Note: The rock formation is about 50 meters high with a large precipice, “The Balcony of the Devil” (a natural formation space) is located in the middle of the rock and can be accessed by visitors.

Next, we will continue riding our bikes downhill the mountain until we reach the community of Chacán, during the route, you will be able to choose between continuing driving on a dirt road or descending on a narrow single trail (only recommended for downhill experts) — please inform us about this matter in advance.

  2. Cusco to Salkantay community by vehicle: About 45 minutes to 1-hour car ride
  3. Salkantay community to the Devil’s Balcony (Balcón del Diablo) by bike on a single trail or dirt road (let’s know about your preference before booking)
  4. At the Devil’s Balcony, you will have a guided tour of this natural rocky formation; you can also cross the rock to the other side by following the riverbank — if you wish!
  5. Biking from the Devil’s balcony to San Cristobal lookout point over a dirt road and paved road
  6. At the lookout point, you’ll have an awesome panoramic view over the historic centre of Cusco
  7. Finally, we will end this bike tour in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco
